Louisa Lam, BCBA
Louisa began her career as a behavioral therapist in 2015. She holds a master degree in Education with a focus on Inclusion and Special Education Needs from University of Birmingham. Her specialisations include Dyslexia and Literacy Difficulties, and Autism. She achieved the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) status in 2024.
Louisa is sensitive, caring and compassionate and she centers on building empathetic relationships with her students. She has experience with a variety of teaching methodologies including Fluency Based Instruction, Direct Instruction, Discrete Trial Training and Natural Environment Teaching. Her experience includes delivering in-home therapy and community based intervention. Louisa has substantial experience in incorporating behavioral goals into play-based activities and makes good use of naturalistic opportunities to accelerate learning.
